  1. I’ve got several thyme bushes out front as my raspberry to my HOA. I’m growing food out front; you just don’t know it. Mine are a few years old, and they are a bit sticky, but they’re also big and vibrant, and they continue to produce throughout the winter. I’m afraid to cut them back, but I know you’re right and that I should. They are doing a nice job as border plants though. 🙂

    • Yes, it would look good as a border plant, now I’ve realised it can be cut back. I love the thought of food as an ornamental in the garden.
      Pruned citrus trees with a thyme border would look great.
